What is Love: Ed1

Context: I was writing fan fiction for the first time when I don't know how, but I got so deep into a particular topic that it actually became blog worthy The question is asked by the MMC and answered by the FMC in a room full of people, where no one can hear them but themselves: "Go on Honey, tell me more about this 'us' that we have. " "The 'us' I talk of is a foriegnly familiar feeling,  a presence and a promise of something far more beautiful than the material, of something that only angels, and if blessed enough, some faithful humans, can manifest." The 'us' I talk of, is the never ending show of the extraordinary from the mundane of our lives. It is Domesticity that used to be formality. It's is a truth, the greatest truth of all, that an 'us' was lucky enough to walk this earth." "This 'us' is our heaven on earth, a glimpse of a bliss that awaits us, a resting for my soul in yours and a peace for your ...

Faces Everywhere

Faces in the train Faces to suffocate  Faces different they are  With colours, shapes n body types With gajras, jewelleries n sarees With pajama, kurtis, burkha or niqab,  With happiness, joy, stress n strain They have a buzzing energy Girls not women yet,  Women with children,  Women no longer having them,  Women of offices,  Women of services,  Women of houses,  All akin.  I look at tight skin I look at sagged busts I look at dreamy smiles I look at bored countenance I look at creased foreheads  I look at running laughter  I look at the many around me  And focus on one  The nearest possibly And farthest impossibly.  I look at myself,  And how count my face,  One in appearance  Many in reality.  I know  The world I see has one face each And then again, they have a million more,  Buried deep

Rich Love

She held her child,  Covered in soot,  Her lips black and feet bruised Cooing in his ears,  He smiled in her embrace,  Showered by love,  In the beggar woman's motherly grace.  A broom in hand,  She sat on the train floor,  Smothering her child.  The world around her judged her clothes,  Her son's bare back,  His burning toes,  She faced the eyes,  She fought the words,   She forgot her state,  And with it all her fears.  Society is cruel,  She knew that fact,  And covered her child's Ears, Eyes and Head,  She did not care for the world As her world lay in her lap.

Mind Strengthening

Human brains are the most powerful machines the earth has ever seen. Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. The potential one's mind holds has no limits whatsoever. Our brains are essentially divided into the concious and subconscious sections to be dominated by the latter. Each part of the two subdivisions owns a separate department for emotions, memory, intelligence, knowledge, senses, metabolic activities, etc. These parts are often triggered by our surroundings rather than being controlled by us, and so, to stand out of the crowd, one must learn to control the mind, which is solely achieved by singleness of purpose. In today's one-minute reel era, concentration is a tough skill to develop and can be nurtured by practicing meditation, yoga, and doing mind exercises like reading knowledgeable books or painting for a long period of time.  The mind has to focus and in order to accumulate it's concious thoughts and execute them as an answer to co...

Mufasa, The Lion King: Movie Review

Mufasa, The Lion King is an addition to the highly successful The Lion King franchise and acts as a well written prequel to the famous and heart touching The Lion King 1994. It is directed by Barry Jenkins and produced by Adele Romanski and Mark Ceryak. It has gained great attention and a lot of well deserved applause.  It features the story of how Mufasa, the father of Simba, fights for the Pridelands and not being born into royalty, becomes the King he is.  The external conflict involves a greedy tyrant Lion named Kiros who rounds up albino lions who are not accepted by their own prides.  The internal conflict is showcased and minutely explains the roots of the widespread tree of hatred his own brother Taka had grown for him.  Mufasa uses high technology CGI which gave the animated characters some expressions, which the live action remake of The Lion King failed to achieve. It also has the classic touch of some great philosophical quotes that have deeper meaning th...

It's November Already

The thick fog I see All around me Its November already,  And as cold as can be.  The dark peaks on one side,  The grey one outlining the black,  And a greyish mountainfloor on the other,  With other trains occasionally,  I sit in my seat,  And everything goes black As a tunnel eats me.  I witness many trees; Thin mango leaves waiting for the sun to once again come and see Tall coconut palms, reaching for the  dusky sky Monkey branches in spiky brooms,  And none of them in any kind of bloom.  The sky is blue,  To dark burgundy Indigo it goes  From grey of all woes Only to turn all black in the end.  But why do i not see the black?  Perhaps it's the lights in every second house Perhaps it's the yellow, green, red and blue fireflies Or Maybe it's just one lamp with moths  The crickets sing in chorus  As the birds end their concert,  The snakes ring their rattle And the dogs howl in,  It's the ope...

Who is Mature?

Maturity does not come with age, It comes with situations and more importantly, with company In a conversation, your level of maturity is not determined by how 'cold' you are or how 'less' you talk, it's determined by how goofy the person in front of you is In any relation, anyone in your life, even a mere acquaintance, or a group of people, you are only mature if the other one isn't Imagine a group of friends; someone will be goofy, someone will be a prankster, someone will be shy, someone will have a short temper, and in all of that, one will be mature That maturity is not even continuous, it keeps shifting from one person to another, the one mature today will be angry tomorrow, and there will be someone else to hold the maturity title  This is how any relation has to work, where being 'bubbly' and 'cold' goes hand in hand If everyone was always mature, there would be no happiness And if everyone was always goofy, there would be no morality Bot...
